AIA is planning a new sports center in Bellver de Cerdanya

We have won the competition for the project of the new pavilion, which will join the existing center. The old sports center will be enlarged and refurbished to form a unique volumetric complex based on a set of covers that are unfolded continuously and new access between the two volumes.

The protagonists of the project will be wood and slate, prioritizing natural circular materials of proximity. All so that the building is integrated into the recognizable image of the buildings of the Cerdanya, and at the same time use a modern construction system, basically dry, with the aim of turning the equipment into a reference in the region.

Both the treatment of the materials and their conception in the design of the facilities will make the pavilion highly sustainable and self-sufficient from an energy point of view.
