The Palau De la Música Catalana becomes more sustainable than ever thanks to AIA

With the lifting of the suspension of activities related to the works approved by Barcelona City Council, the works to reform the air treatment system of the Palau de la Música Catalana have been reactivated. ⠀

We are now entering the final stages of this reform. A project developed by the AIA team to replace and improve the air treatment units, which total a flow of 100,000 m3 / h, as well as the necessary civil works for the replacement of existing machinery and location of new equipment. ⠀

Having limited space for the most efficient equipment and complying with the new regulatory frameworks means a detailed engineering effort while designing these engine rooms. ⠀

This action and others that are being carried out by the maintenance team of the Palace have made the emblematic building improve its energy rating, going from a C to a B. ⠀
