A staircase... a lift... why not both integrated?
ESCALA'M is a hybrid between a staircase and a lift. It consists of a spiral staircase with a pneumatic piston that allows you to go up on foot or mechanically. Solving accessibility problems in single-family dwellings has been a constant, this difficulty has been solved until now with artificial lifts. The incorporation of a pneumatic piston in the central axis of a spiral staircase solves its operation in a moving structure.
