The project proposes to completely reform and expand the current Beach Club restaurant, converting it into an exclusive boutique hotel. Our proposal included a restaurant, a bar, a large space for conventions and a modern spa with a swimming pool and a gym.
The most unique element of the complex was the 14 fully customized rooms, with their own interior design, with terraces overlooking the mountains and the most exclusive ones with direct views of the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, four of them were equipped with a pool-spa on the spacious private terrace. The proposed reform recovered a purer volumetry and defined geometric forms, in the tradition of Mediterranean architecture, where the color white and light are the great protagonists. In addition, it has natural light that is transferred to the interior of the spaces, notably enriching them and transforming the old darkness and lack of light.
The building on its ground floor seeks to be almost as if it was a porch, a space of transition towards the sea, which is the true protagonist of the proposal. This ground floor was drilled to allow the lower level to enjoy natural light, eliminating the sensation of a basement and transforming it into a new floor where light and vegetation take over the old darkness.
The first floor is the level of the rooms. A private and exclusive space where every detail has been designed to enhance each space and area. From the spiral staircase that runs through the large central space with its black granite, and which crosses the entire volume, you can access the “floating” corridor on a sand floor and mirror ceiling that leads to the rooms, surrounded by a plant world that upholsters its walls and gives meaning to the name “Tropical”. Each room is a world. Different, but with some common elements that were combined in different ways in each of them. Looking for the maximum sensation of amplitude, open bathrooms, high ceilings with different geometric profiles and some great and natural protagonists: the sea in some cases, the mountain in others. The relationship with the outside environment is, in the end, what gives all the sense to the proposal.
Finally, the chill out solarium terrace finishes off the entire intervention, where a spectacular infinity swimming pool delivers the building to the sea and the beach, which is ultimately its natural habitat.
