'Infobox' is a pavilion, considered as an ephemeral architectural, that was initially conceived as an exhibition space for the mock-up and the project for the remodelling of the seafront at the Playa de Teresitas beach. Designed by Dominique Perrault and AIA Arquitectes it was subsequently adapted as the seat of the Anaga District Council in San Andres and, when the work of remodelling the beach has concluded, this building will be taken down and on the site that it currently occupies, bordered by the Cercados and Huertas ravines, a sports facility is going to be put up.
With an exterior clad in Corten steel sheeting, the main entrance of the InfoBox is by means of a ramp, with a lateral platform and a terrace facing onto the beach, providing privileged views. The building is protected from the wind and sun by two large, stainless steel mesh brisoleil solar shades.
A two-storey building, with a ground floor that previously housed the exhibition room (now the Anaga District Council), and a first floor room with a reduced capacity that is used for the holding of conferences and public acts.
The ground floor entrance is set in a green, roofless space, a kind of garden that you have to pass through in order to access the building. The walls on the ground floor are glazed, allowing for uninterrupted views of the vicinity.
